Hormone Health
Hormone health is of utmost importance. Hormones are one of the two main ways in which our bodies communicate with themselves.
And, this applies to MEN too!
In fact, men are proving to be deficient in Progesterone and Testosterone, whilst levels of Oestrogen, amongst men, are on the rise… Which, is clearly not a good thing!
Women are also struggling to maintain their female hormones, whilst keeping their androgen hormones, like Testosterone, in check.
Acne and unexplained weight gain are two of the most common symptoms of a deeper problem… they are the sentinels of an hormonal imbalance… Know all of this already…?
Male & Female Hormone Health
The overt consequences of hormone imbalances in men and women are all too apparent. And, if it’s only a case of Acne, or monthly break-outs, then consider yourself lucky… Long-term hormone issues turn into more serious conditions…
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most common endocrine abnormality in women of reproductive age, and its prevalence is estimated to be 4–8% in studies performed in Greece, Spain and the USA. The prevalence of PCOS is increasing the world over and is showing a galloping increase in parallel with the rising prevalence of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).
*The way in which we now test for PCOS has changed, which may account for some of the increases in the statistical data relating to this unfortunate hormonal problem.
*I have recently read, (2019), that PCOS is minimally at 10% of the female population, and could be as high as 20% of the female population in Western countries, owing to undiagnosed cases of PCOS.
Men Need Progesterone!
Did you know that Progesterone in men is a precursor for Testosterone? This means that Progesterone levels are helping men to fend off environmental and plant based Oestrogens, and the emasculating signs of feminisation that some men have given way to. And, did you know that they are doing this by simply possessing enough Progesterone?
But, Xenoestrogens, the synthetic Oestrogens that are causing a lot of our hormone problems, are already unavoidably prevalent within our home, office and school environments, and the consequences are all too evident:
New research finds that more men have suboptimal testosterone levels than previously known, and it may be putting these men at risk.
A male’s total testosterone level may be linked to more than just sexual health and muscle mass preservation, a new study finds. Low amounts of the hormone could also be associated with chronic disease, even among men 40 years of age and younger.

Xenoestrogens Harm Hormone Health
Xenoestrogens are synthetic Oestrogens found in plastics and fire retardants etc, which means that our homes, schools and work places are utterly awash with them.
Have you had a plastic clad microwave meal in the last week? Well, if you have, you will have consumed plenty of Xenoestrogens!
Whilst excessive Oestrogens are really bad news for both men and women, (the risk of cancer increases dramatically for everyone, for example), the existence of Xenoestrogens is so much worse than the natural variety!
Xenoestrogens lock onto cell receptor sites, refusing to ever let go, which means naturally created hormones, produced by the body to transmit messages, have fewer and fewer sites onto which to dock.
This means our natural hormones are unable to deliver their information. And, the ultimate upshot of this is that vital processes in the body are then not initiated.
Dysfunction becomes systemic. *Thieves Oil 2020 by Wild As The Wind forces Xenoestrogens to detach from receptor sites. It is suitable for both men and women.
Infertility On The Rise
Perhaps the most revealing symptom of global hormone problems is increasing infertility.
Infertility, the key marker of our hormonal issues, which affects both men and women, continues to rise exponentially…
The topic has become the mainstay of dystopian science fiction. Our world is afflicted by widespread infertility and childless civilisations are left hovering on the brink of collapse. Children of Men and The Handmaid’s Tale provide perfect examples of these unsettling narratives.
Yet the scenarios outlined in these books and dramatisations may be less fanciful than is first supposed. Indeed, reaction to a study of male infertility, published last week, suggests we may already be hurtling towards such a fate.
According to scientists at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, sperm counts among men in the west have more than halved in the past 40 years and are currently falling by an average of 1.4% a year. Humanity could soon become extinct, it was claimed by some commentators.
The most worrying element of this altogether frightening situation is that the plumeting sperm counts amongst men are largely being atributed to mobile phone use. Most men store their phones in the front pockets of their jeans and trousers. This damages sperm counts, but it also damages the DNA of the sperm… permanently!
This means that when the mobile phones are consistently kept away from the scrotum, or gonads, for a couple of months, the sperm count returns to normal, but the DNA damage remains.
Rosemary Essential Oil protects DNA. This is why *Thieves Oil 2020 by Wild As The Wind contains Rosemary Essential Oil.

Hormone Health Is Critical
Neurotransmitters are the other way in which the body communicates with itself. This means hormones and neurotransmitters are both vitally important for the normal functioning of the body.
When Neurotransmitters, like Serotonin, are deficient, psychological disorders run riot…
Healthy Serotonin levels are equally vital as hormone balance for our mental health. Deficiencies result in depressive disorders.
90% of Serotonin is produced in the gut, and the majority of our hormones are produced and regulated by the gut… It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to connect the dots and realise the precursor for all mental health issues is the gut.
Mental Health Affects Every Family In The UK
Data obtained by the Guardian shows that one in six people in England were prescribed antidepressants in 2017
Also, according to the Guardian…
NHS prescribed record number of antidepressants last year
The above is the headline of a recent article which exposes the very dramatic increases in the number of prescriptions for antidepressants.
Prescriptions for 64.7m items of antidepressants – an all-time high – were dispensed in England in 2016, the most recent annual data from NHS Digital showed. That was 3.7m more than the 61m items dispensed during 2015.
It also represents a massive 108.5% increase on the 31m antidepressants which pharmacies dispensed in 2006.
In the same article it stated…
Leading doctors defended the sharp increase in the use of drugs which have been accused of fostering dependency in some patients, their potential side-effects and not always relieving symptoms.
*It is noted that figures for 2017 – 2018 show reductions in antidepressant usage, although, 1.6 million users were introduced to these synthetic drugs. I personally believe this is due to long term users realising the drugs they have been taking are not helpful. Plus, I believe people are wising up to the egregious financial exploitation of our health services, as well as ourselves, and are beginning to question whether drug therapies are all they are made out to be…

Hormone Health & Neurotransmitter Health
As we have seen, Hormone health and Neurotransmitter health equal the health of our internal communication systems.
Dysfunctions on either side will spell disaster.
The ultimate solution is to heal our gut, but for immediate symptomatic relief, and to support your gut recovery programme, there are a number of essential oils which will calm Hormone imbalance for short-term relief, but will also help in the recovery of your overall systemic health.
The Wild As The Wind blended Hormone Oils mentioned at the end of this article are particularly useful…
There are other things we can do to help restore Hormonal and Gut Health… managing stress is one of them… exercising is another…
What Do We Do For Hormone Health?
De-stressing and remaining active are vital for normal Hormone Health… but they don’t deal with the issue of Xenoestrogens preventing natural hormones from accessing cell receptor sites and blocking out our natural Hormones,
Thieves Oil 2020 forces Xenoestrogens to evacuate cell receptor sites.
