Helichrysum Essential Oil In Brief
Best known for it’s anti-inflammatory actions and skincare applications, Helichrysum Aromatherapy Oil is a valuable commodity.
Due to profound anti-ageing properties, Helichrysum has earned itself the name Immortelle, or Everlasting Flower.
Wildcrafted Organic Helichrysum Essential oil is an important ingredient in Wild As The Wind FACIAL OIL No. 8
Helichrysum Essential Oil & Neurological Health
Perhaps one of the most important healing capabilities of Helichrysum Essential Oil, because of it’s relative uniqueness, is that it can support the health of our neurological tissue. In a world drenched in environmental toxins, including chemical & heavy metal pollutants, as well as the immense burden of electro-smog from wireless technologies and dirty energy, creating an immense toxic soup, our neurological health is the first to suffer.
A rare aromatherapy oil, which can offer neurological support, is worth it’s weight in gold!
*Cananga Essential Oil is another such oil.
Helichrysum Essential Oil Healing Benefits
Helichrysum is a veritable healing powerhouse…
Helichrysum Essential Oil has importantly been shown to elicit an anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory response within an inflamed digestive system, which helps to reduce gut swelling, cramping and digestive pain. It does this by prompting the discharge of bile as well as neutralising acids thereby promoting improved digestion, reducing acidity & decreasing the symptoms of acidosis.
*Take internally to promote healthy Liver + Pancreas + digestive function as well as facilitating heavy metal chelation + supporting neurological tissue.
Helichrysum’s anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory actions also make it a formidable essential oil for respiratory issues, particularly Asthma.

Use in a 1:1 ratio in a 5% dilution in your carrier oil of choice, (I prefer Sweet Almond), and apply to the temples, wrists and base of the feet up to five times a day for three weeks. Take one week off and repeat the cycle.
Twofer: Due to it’s flavonoid & antioxidant compounds which inhibit oxidative stress & cancer growth in lab experiments there is reason to believe it may protect cells against radiation-induced DNA damage, cell mutation and death & cancerous tumour growth, as does Rosemary Essential Oil.
