Skin Conditions

In Thyroid & The Skin Connection we looked at all the ways skin conditions reflect a deeper Thyroid problem. But, our skin can tell us a whole lot more.
I regularly surprise people by asking them if they’re aware they have a digestive issues. Sadly, this is because I am presented with so many people who have Raynaud’s, (a gut issue), Acne, (a gut issue), Rosacea, (a gut issue), Vitiligo, (a gut issue), all the time…
***Practically all autoimmune conditions have digestive issues as a central theme!
I’m quick to demystify my insights so that people feel less spooked and exposed / vulnerable, explaining that I have learnt to understand what dermal symptoms represent at a deeper level, through years of experience… And, I tell them they can do the same…
Our skin is constantly giving us signs as to how our body is or isn’t working well. We just need to start noticing the pattern of clues which appear on our skin and learn to interpret what they mean…
Our Skin Provides Clues To Internal Problems
This article has been written with the intention of sharing some of the insights I’ve gained over the years, so that you can start to learn about your health at a deeper level, simply by remaining vigilant when you look in the mirror!
The wicked queen in Sleeping Beauty was seriously asking the wrong question…
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?
Instead, she should have been paying close attention to her blemishes and discolouration!
Root Causes Of Skin Conditions
I will also outline some of the biggest factors influencing our skin health, and thus our health at a deeper level… Things like skin conditions caused by, or exacerbated by, exposure to wireless technologies.
It’s important to outline the role that wireless tech is playing with our overall health, as well as our skin health, as it is a contributing factor in causing many dermal issues, but is largely unknown, and certainly not understood within mainstream medicine.
However, before I get to the root causes of the problems, I’m going to focus on what is referred to as ‘face mapping’, which is a system of interpreting our faces for the purposes of diagnosis, based on theories that are thousands of years old.
Ayurvedic Medicine, from Southern India, and Traditional Chinese Medicine, aka TCM, both use the condition of our skin to help diagnose internal health issues, and practitioners will discreetly note the facial skin condition of their clients as they work towards a diagnosis…
Skin Condition & The Liver
Liver issues show up as jaundice and yellowing of the eyes. Liver issues also show up as dark or puffy rings under the eyes.
***The latter can also portend kidney issues too.
Our Livers are also represented by the spot between our eyebrows, so if you ever get a pointed headache there, or there’s a lot of redness, with very little elsewhere, or that’s where your Acne or Rosacea kicks off, then there’s Liver issues at play.
Lines and wrinkles between our eyebrows also indicate Liver issues. Lines on the right side of the bridge of the nose can represent repressed emotions such as anger.
It’s not so unusual to have imbalanced lines on either side of the bridge of the nose between the eyebrows. Just think of Gordon Ramsay’s distinct lines in this area which are much more pronounced on his right side than his left.
In metaphysical terms the Liver is the seat of all anger, so repressed anger is usually tied to poor Liver function. Many know Gordon Ramsay to be easy to anger, which would suggest there’s very little repression going on there! But, the fact Gordon Ramsay is overtly angry in, what some would consider, an excessive way, would definitely indicate repressed anger issues. Why else would he be so easily triggered and why else does he suffer so much with superficial anger? These are sure signs there’s hidden trauma at a deeper level, usually caused by ACE’s, aka Adverse Childhood Experiences, which tend to make us much more easily triggered in adulthood. Learn more about these in The Ultimate Cause Of All Illness.
Unresolved inner anger is often exhibited as trivial superficial outbursts of anger which seem like extreme over-reactions. And, the best way of working with repressed anger, so we can live calmer lives with a lot less emotional triggers, is to work through the Universal Law Of Forgiveness.
I will be running outdoor workshops in Universal Law in the UK soon, so please email me to express an interest. Mastering Universal Law is the key to emotional and physical wellness.
Lines and wrinkles on the left side of the bridge of our noses represent issues with both the Liver and Spleen…
Skin Condition & The Spleen
Those lines on the left side of the top of our nose may seem insignificant, but the implications are considerable, if Eastern medicine is to be believed.
By contrast, the Spleen is considered to be relatively unimportant within Western Medicine, which tends to be currently focused on the physical, mechanical functions of the body. However, our bodies are energetic, and there’s a lot of unseen action going on which isn’t taken into considered by Allopathic Medicine, just yet.
The energy functions of the body are, however, pivotal to our health. If our energetic body is out of whack we will not find permanent fixes to our health problems. They always re-emerge.
The Spleen is the entry point for life energy, which is known as Prana in the East. It is where our inspiration enters the body.
An unhealthy Spleen will result in the depletion of life energy and can lead to Depression and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It is likely implicated in conditions like Fibromyalgia also. It is certainly implicated in other Autoimmune conditions such as Arthritis and Rheumatism. Rheumatoid arthritis patients are usually found to have murky energy around their Spleens.
All Autoimmune conditions cause inflammation and pain in the body.
The Universal Law of Oneness and the Universal Law of Flow are critically important for Spleen health.
There are many ways in which we can be afflicted with energetic Spleen issues. Emotional injuries relating to issues of self esteem and confidence are key, as well as a disconnection from our Divine origins, or a refusal to embrace received wisdom and our Spiritual nature. This is usually due to feelings of unworthiness.
Being the largest organ in the lymphatic system the Spleen is very much related to the process of purification, and is, in reality, vitally important for detoxing the blood, eliminating illnesses, contaminants and pathogens out of the body.
This means the Spleen is a major influencing factor in the quality of out blood and immune system.
The Spleen is closely related to the energy of the Navel… which is all about the giving of life also. Essential oils applied topically to the belly help to reinvigorate the Spleen.
In Taoist Yoga, the Spleen Chakra is of importance. The Front Spleen Chakra’s Taoist equivalent is fu ai (abdomen of depression) while that of the Back Spleen Chakra is wei cang (stomach’s courage). The Spleen Chakra is thus a chakra that has a strong effect on general energy levels and wellness.
An excellent aromatherapy oil for inspiring courage is Sandalwood Essential Oil. This oil energetically guides us to engage our courage.
And, Rose Essential Oil is excellent for facilitating the energetic healing necessary for us to advance on our journey to overcome depression.
***However, these two essential oils can be prohibitively expensive for most people, so Wild As The Wind provides a solution :: Courage Essential Oil Blend.
This predominantly floral blend of nine oils not only inspires courage, it also helps us to align with our inspiration and creative impulses, so that we feel emboldened to be who we really are.
Skin Condition & Digestion
Acne on our chin, or around our mouth and jawline is indicative of imbalances within our Sex Hormones / Reproductive Systems, as well as our Large Intestine, Colons and Stomach.
When Acne exhibits below our lips and lower chin it usually indicates our entire digestive system is dysfunctional, including the Spleen and Kidneys.
In addition ruddy cheeks, or a sanguine complexion denote digestive dysfunction originating in the Stomach, but also implicating the Liver and Lungs
Issues with the Lungs can be related to the Kidneys. When the Kidneys are overburdened they throw what they can’t cope with up to the lungs. So, an over production of phlegm may have everything to do with a Kidney issue and nothing to do with a chest infection.
Redness in our cheeks may also indicate an immune response, respiratory issues or an allergic response, but, more seriously may indicate heart-related issues like high blood pressure and inflammation.
Magnesium Deficiency & Skin Condition
Dry skin often illustrates Magnesium deficiency, which is immensely common, hence the rocketing popularity of Mineral Spritz.
As you will learn in Gut Health, the first thing the gut is unable to absorb when it is stressed is all of the tremendously important trace minerals, which includes Magnesium.
Dry skin can also be caused by dehydration and lymphatic weakness.
The Skin Condition Of The Forehead
Discolouration, breakouts and blemishes on our foreheads are a sure sign the small intestine and bladder are struggling. In Eastern Medicine this is thought to be linked to poor digestion, poorly managed stress, and sleep deprivation.
Skin Conditions Above & In between The Eyebrows & Around The Nose
Breakouts immediately above the gap in between our eyebrows or on the bridge of the nose as well as around the nostrils represent an imbalance in the kidneys, spleen, digestive tract, or bladder.
When rashes like Rosacea or Acne appear around our nostrils this is generally related to gut issues. In particular, it denotes inflammation of the small intestine, which could indicate SIBO, aka small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, as well as more generalised digestive issues which all fit firmly into the category of autoimmune conditions.
Everything from Multiple Sclerosis to Eczema, Psoriasis, Raynaud’s and Rosacea are autoimmune conditions, and are accompanied by brain fog and fatigue, reduced libido and inflammatory pain.
Brain fog and fatigue can be a sign of Leaky Gut.
Please read Mast Cell Activation Syndrome to understand autoimmunity more fully.
Skin Condition & The Heart
Acne breakouts and rashes, as well as lines immediately above the eyebrows represents a problem with heart function.

Heavy Metals & Other Toxins
Sadly, not all skin conditions can lead us instantly to obvious causes..
Heavy metals specifically target our skin and are implicated in eczema, dryness, discolouration, dermal inflammation and other skin problems. Heavy metals, even in tiny amounts, cause free radical damage and oxidative stress, which are the main causes of ageing.
Our personal care and skincare products are also poisoning us… They are the biggest source of a whole slew of toxins to be found in our bodies.
Parabens and pthalates, amongst many other chemicals found in personal care products cause skin inflammation, which is an immune response. Anything that causes inflammation is an immune response, which means that whatever is responsible has no business being anywhere near our bodies.
All toxins are stressors to our bodies, most of which negatively impact our digestive health. This is why gut health is cited so frequently for being implicated in skin disorders.
In Skincare Ingredients To Avoid there’s a list of the most harmful, hormone disrupting chemicals which are routinely used in personal care products.
And, of course, anything that can disrupt our hormones, inevitably compounds the problem within our bodies, making our skin even worse. Plus, these toxic substances bio-accumulate within our bodies too.
So, whilst you won’t necessarily see or feel any harm when you first start using products with these toxins in them, once you have built up enough of a store of them in your body, they will start making their presence felt. But, they are rarely identified as the cause of skin issues, and nor are they often identified as the root cause of deeper, systemic issues.
Electro Sensitivity & Skin Health
Microwave technologies are another major source of stress and toxicity which are rarely identified as the precursor for many of the problems they are causing.
Wireless technologies and wireless devices, like our mobile phones, smart meters, tablets, baby monitors etc etc, are making our skin erupt… hives, (urticaria), rashes, itching, burning as well as facial redness are becoming increasingly common with ongoing exposure to wireless technologies.
Our skin is the canary in the coal mine, indicating the extensive damage going on inside our bodies from our exposure to wireless technologies… Poor diets and environmental toxicity are all also major contributers. Added altogether and we have got an intolerable burden on the body!
Wireless tech is really undermining our health at a systemic level. There’s documented evidence EMF’s (electromagnetic fields) and EMR’s (electromagnetic radiation) are causing cancer, brain issues and neuro-degenerative disorders, Autism, ADD & ADHD as well as depression, anxiety & suicide, and fatty liver & gut issues as well as skin conditions etc etc etc…

We Are The Evidence
Wireless Tech Injured Advocacy Group
There’s a brilliant video between Jack Kruse and Justin Marchegiani at the bottom of the Shungite page on this website, which describes a lot of the symptoms of wireless technologies in more detail.
Read my story… I got REALLY SICK after working for 16 hours a day on my computer, as a professional writer, for several years…
It’s why I do what I do now!
It’s no coincidence that Wild As The Wind is the only skincare business that also sells Shungite, which protects us from wireless technologies, and has as many articles about the dangers of EMF and 5G in the blog as I do about Wild As The Wind products!
And, this is what I promise readers just before the Jack Kruse interview on the Shungite page…
I promise you… once I have related all the information I feel compelled to share with everyone about the hazards to our health and the ways we can heal, I will turn my back on IT forever! I have already suffered from extreme adrenal fatigue, raging hives, insomnia, Tinitus and anxiety and depression as well as other issues owing to being on a computer for over 16 hours a day for several years.
Dr David Jockers has produced a great article 10 Things Acne Means About Your Health, which explains face mapping in more detail and provides a great illustration of how the face can be split up into distinct sections relating to which issues cause facial skin problems.
