Healing The Vagus Nerve
It’s understood that 90% of us have an infected Vagus Nerve. As our Vagus Nerve is the information highway connecting our brain to all of our major organs of our body, this means that infection is relayed from one part of our body to another with ease via the Vagus Nerve.
Dental infection is thought to account for 90% of heart attacks, after the dental infections hitch a ride in the Vagus Nerve. This is possible because our Vagus Nerve travels down our neck passing in very close proximity to the hinge of our jaw bone.
But, our Vagus Nerve can deliver infections to all of other major organs of our body. These can be viral or bacterial, and even fungal in nature.
The Stress Response
Our Vagus Nerve controls the stress response within our bodies. It is essentially the flip switch between the fight or flight response and our rest and digest response, aka the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system responses.

However, it’s entirely possible for us to manage our stress levels by working with the Vagus Nerve to restore a parasympathetic state. the easiest way of doing this is to massage the Vagus Nerve.
Massaging The Vagus Nerve
Apply a couple of drops of Thieves Oil 2022 to the tips of your fingers and rub them together until warm. Then apply to the Vagus Nerve points directly behind the ear lobes, where the edge of the Mandible, (jaw bone), meets the neck.
Continue to gently massage this area for a couple of minutes until all of the oil seems to have been absorbed. The warmer the oil is the quicker it will be absorbed.
Repeat up to three times a day.
IMPORTANT :: Even deeply healing products and medicines can bioaccumulate within our body, over time, and cause us problems. It is, therefore, important to take a minimum of a couple of days off using Thieves Oil 2022 every other week or so. This is easily done if you stick to using Thieves Oil 2022 on the days you feel particularly hormonal or sensitive and taking a rest on the days you are feeling more even temperamentally.

Thieves Oil 2022 can also be interchanged with other hormone balancing essential oil blends when massaging your Vagus Nerve, especially if you suspect you have a Vagus Nerve infection, or if you don’t use face oil.
Vagus Nerve Massage Contraindications :: There is a very minor risk of causing more harm than good in tachicardic cases where a slow heart beat is registering, aka Bradycardia. Our heartbeat is regulated by the nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system is responsible for accelerating the heart while the parasympathetic nervous system has the function of slowing it down. The Vagus Nerve governs the parasympathetic nervous system and so it slows the heart rate down. Thus, in people with extreme and prolonged Bradycardia, Vagal stimulation has very occasionally resulted in cardiac arrest but only in very extreme cases.
Alternative Methods Of Application
Between two and five drops of Thieves Oil 2022 can be applied to the pulse points of your wrists, where some people spray perfume. Rub your wrists vigorously together, after application, until the oil is absorbed. Repeat up to eight times a day.

Use In Conjunction With Other Hormone Balancing Essential Oils
Using FACIAL OIL No. 2 or FACIAL OIL No. 8 is highly recommended if you are suffering from hormonal skin conditions, like acne, or have developed a stress related, or food intolerance related, hormonal imbalance.

The blend of oils in Thieves Oil 2022 may reduce blood clotting activity and should not be taken by Haemophiliacs and those on Warfrin or other blood thinning medications.
Not to be used by children of 10 years or younger.
Not to be used by pregnant and breast feeding women.
Thieves Oil 2022 should be used away from pets. It’s important to let Thieves Oil 2022 absorb for a good five minutes before re-entering a room where there are pets. After about half an hour the essential oils, which are toxic to pets, will have largely been absorbed by your body.
***Clove Essential Oil slows down blood clotting due to its Eugenol content. Clove is known to interact with blood thinning medications such as anticoagulant/anti-platelet medications.
Oregano Essential Oil also contains Eugenol.
