There are only two states of wellbeing. There’s health, and there’s ill-health… it’s just that the second category is a broad church which spans everything from feeling a little out of sorts and extending all the way to the chiming of the bell at death’s darkly lit door.
It doesn’t matter if your malaise is caused by an infection, allergen, hormone imbalance, intoxication, mental and emotional stress or an accident… all of these things are all just stressors to the body… and they will all achieve a status of ill-health, by degree, within the ‘temple of our souls’.
Stress Is The Cause Of All Illness & Dysfunction is a companion piece to The Ultimate Cause Of All Illness and Inflammation Is The Cause Of All Illness.
Root Causes Of Emotional Stress
In The Ultimate Cause Of All Illness I reveal there is a form of formative stress which predisposes us to illness in later life. This early life stress often leads to anxiety & depression, PTSD and other psychological and physical conditions in later years. It also predisposes us to having a ‘hair trigger’ when it comes to expressing our negative emotional traits. It’s almost like we have been hardwired to achieve an instant negative emotional state in later years based on early childhood trauma. This effectively means those affected have little tolerance for stress and are more predisposed to illness of any kind.
It is very important to read The Ultimate Cause Of All Illness after reading this article, as the effects of stress in our early years often leads to serious, and sometimes life threatening, health issues in later life. Unless we successfully process our early life traumas, the long-term outlook isn’t good.
However, the good news is, there are many ways to process trauma and mitigate the ill effects.
For example, Hyssop Essential Oil is excellent for remedying trauma. Yarrow Essential Oil and German Chamomile Essential Oil are also excellent for energetically transmuting trauma.
***Rosemary Essential Oil is the most protective when it comes to wireless tech interference and damage to the human energy field. It protects us at a DNA level.
Other methods of processing trauma include EMDR, the tapping solution and TRE therapy.
The reason why stress causes so much systemic harm is because it adversely impacts our gut health.
Stress & Our Gut Health
Gut issues are at the root of all autoimmune conditions. I have written several important articles about this, which I also advise you to read after you have a better understanding of what stress is by reading this article.
The Root of Autoimmune Disease can be Found in the Gut
It is also advisable to read this article if you have chronic inflammation or chronic mould / fungal infection: Mast Cell Activation Syndrome
Managing The Stress Response
The Vagus Nerve is responsible for modulating stress within the body. There’s a number of ways in which we can work with the Vagus Nerve to reinstate a sense of calm throughout our bodies.
Learn how to massage the Vagus Nerve here: Using Thieves Oil 2020 For Hormone & EMF Detox.
Learn other techniques, like breathing, as in the videos below…
Dr Berg discusses other methods of supporting the Vagus Nerve in this video below:
In addition, in the article Inflammation Is The Cause Of All Illness I identify many of the stressors which make us ill… providing a much greater focus on the impacts of stress on our emotional lives. Healing our emotional lives is the key to all healing of any kind… and this includes physical conditions
Fibromyalgia always starts with a trauma, and when I mention this to the many Fibro sufferers who come to me in person, they ALWAYS know which trauma started their raging inflammation and bodily pain. We intuitively know these things.
Inflammation Is The Cause Of All Illness
Stress Is A Killer
We all know stress is a killer. Even if we haven’t seen anyone succumb to the lethal way in which it cleaves at a body’s health, we still innately know it to be true… and most of us know a friend or family member who has succumbed to stress by developing a fatal illness!
But why? The answer to this is simple… Stress is the cause of all ill-health because stress is profoundly toxic, and there are as many stressors to the body as there are toxins in the world…
List Of Stressors
- Bacteria
- Viruses
- Mould
- Parasites
- Poisons :: Chemicals + Gases & Heavy Metals
- Mental + Emotional Toxicity :: The things we relate to including people + jobs + money + concepts of happiness or success etc…
- Deficiencies :: emotional deficiency & dietary deficiencies can have devastating effects on the body.
- Wireless technologies exert a tremendous electro-toxic burden on our bodies.
- Sensory excesses, such as auditory excess, which can cause deafness.
- Lack of sleep
- The way we relate to ourselves (I saved the most important for last!)

Stress Is Even More Toxic In Women
There is a little known fact about how women differ from men in terms of how we process stress.
And, this is exacerbated by the world we live in.
The world is essentially calibrated to suit men and is finely geared to exploit the competitive male principle.
Because men tend to be competitive, and because they were introduced to the workplace first, as well as to our seats of learning, and pretty much everywhere else outside of the home, a long time before women were invited to join them, this means that almost every man-made environment has been created as a means within which to facilitate one kind of contest or another.
Women, rather than being naturally inclined towards competition, have a greater tendency toward collaboration and taking care of others. In the work place they are more predisposed to be collaborative, and tend to work much better in a team… so needless to say, work and educational environments which are geared in a competitive way will be very stressful to women simply because the underlying impetus is completely at odds with what women generally feel comfortable with.
Stress Quickly Translates Into Hormone Issues In Women
So what happens when women get stressed?
Just like men we produce Cortisol, the stress hormone, which gives us the energy to deal with a stressful incident. Cortisol and Adrenaline, our stress hormones, are natures way of providing us with the energy and focus to fend off an attack, but are only meant to be made by the body occasionally, whilst dealing with life-threatening circumstances. It’s called the fight or flight response.
But, because work stressors are continuous the Cortisol just keeps on pumping, which men can tolerate way better than women for one simple reason…
… men don’t use their Progesterone to make their Cortisol… which is precisely what women do!
Under healthy circumstances our Progesterone and our Oestrogen are engaged in a precarious balancing act. Progesterone goes a long way to balancing out the damaging effects of too much Oestrogen… BUT… if women find themselves in a constant state of stress, all of that goes straight out of the window!
Add to that the immense burden of Xenoestrogens, (synthetic Oestrogens), (which adversely affect both men and women), and you have a recipe for utter disaster within women…
It starts with being a little weepy and a few spots on our chins, and over time it escalates to Oestrogen Cancers, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Mental and Physical breakdowns and ultimately… goodnight Vienna!
It may take decades, but we will all get there in the end, that is, of course, unless we decide to buck the system and declare, “enough is enough!”
Cyclic Stress
Stress is even more disastrous from day fourteen to day twenty one in a woman’s cycle. Immediately after ovulating the female body needs to stay in a relaxed and harmonious state. If it doesn’t it can expose women to the risk of all manner of life threatening diseases.
How Can Men Help?
A lot of men are naturally competitive, whilst a lot of women are collaborative. This means that we can principally be at odds with each other, which can pass stress in both directions.
But, because stress is so much more damaging for women, especially in the third week of their mensural cycle, everyone needs to be vigilant and more focussed on keeping things as stress-free in households where a woman is in this stage of her cycle.
Both men and women are naturally inclined toward collaboration if they feel their ultimate objectives are going to be met. So, this is where men and women can easily meet in the middle without much effort.
If the focus during these times can be directed towards engendering the most loving and supportive relationship possible, then outcomes can be amazing for all involved.
Mental & Emotional Toxicity
Mental and emotional toxicity is a very complex category. It includes direct toxic relationships with other people as well as with the things we do, for instance our jobs and hobbies, as well as things which potentially exert a stressful influence on us, like money. But, that’s not the end of the list by any means… nevertheless, I’m sure you get the picture…
All Expectation Sets Us Up For Toxic Burdening
Our expectations can be an immense toxic trap, and so can our identifications.
People who believe things can make us happy set themselves up for enormous amounts of stress! If it’s not the idea of wedded bliss, or believing our ultimate life-long objective is to live in a semi with a life-partner, 2.4 kids and a dog with a family saloon parked on the driveway, then it could be something like getting a degree and nailing a great job, or owning a BMW soft-top or even a pair of Adidas trainers… it could even be achieving a certain weight or getting beyond Acne etc etc…
If you ever start a sentence with :: If I could only… then you are likely already in trouble.
All of the above fit perfectly with the If I could only opener…
If I could only… own a BMW soft-top I’d be so happy!
If I could only… just get rid of my Acne I’d be so happy!
If I could only… achieve my ideal weight I’d be so happy!
If I could only… live in a semi with a life-partner, 2.4 kids and a dog with a family saloon parked on the driveway I’d be so happy!
Well! Sorry to burst your bubble… but it’s all nonsense! Things don’t make us happy.
A feeling does!
All expectations do is to create a live stream of toxic stress which will push all of the things we think we want further away from us. Yes… all of that toxic stress just guarantees we plunge into an out-of-control descent into ill-health, and nothing else.
And, even more tragically, the burden of stress won’t be immediately noticeable… the damage bio-accumulates until a toxic tipping point is achieved, and you get sick in the particular way in which you are pre-designed to get sick… i.e. your toxicity bubbles up to the surface via the weakest parts of your body.
But these weak points have got a whole lot more to do with you as an individual than they have to do with your genetic expression.
Epigenetics
Epigenetics is the new view of gene expression.
Hereditary genetic influence is only 5% of the story, and what we are exposed to, or not exposed to, is the rest of the story. The more toxic our environment, the more our genes are activated. But if we reduce the level of toxicity we expose ourselves to, then the genes we’ve switched on will also switch off again. Truth be known, our genes are switching on and off all of the time..
Dietary Deficiencies
One of the most common forms of stress is one of the least acknowledged!
Deficiencies, especially dietary deficiencies, cause the body incredible amounts of stress. This is because dietary deficiencies create chain reactions of malfunction which create massively stressful downward spirals.
Take for example, Magnesium deficiency, which has major knock-on effects.
If you have anxiety, poor sleep, cramping, fibromyalgia, Type 2 diabetes, Thyroid issues, Osteoporosis and migraines etc… you need to watch the video below…
Several peer reviewed studies have proven that Magnesium supplementation can reduce insulin resistance in both diabetic and non-diabetic people.
Dr Axe mentions that approximately 80% of us are Magnesium deficient… but how do you know if you are affected? In Skin Conditions I explain how our skin often reveals mineral deficiencies within our bodies.
Dry skin often illustrates Magnesium deficiency, which is immensely common, hence the rocketing popularity of Mineral Spritz.
Dr Axe mentions Magnesium Oil as a means of rectifying Magnesium deficiency. The Wild As The Wind product, Mineral Spritz contains 26 minerals, the main one being Magnesium. It immediately smooths and alleviates dry, discoloured skin leaving it silky to the touch. The minerals in Mineral Spritz enter the body through the skin, which help to address the internal mineral deficiencies just as Magnesium oil does.
It is currently acknowledged that inherited genes only account for 5% of our health profile.
Emotional Deficiency
Humans live to connect, share and love. But, the modern world, with it’s fixation on work and hyper-productivity, has forgotten all of that.
The greed of the few has funnelled most of the wealth to the top one percent leaving the rest of us feeling exploited and broken, with very little left in the tank to give and share with others.
Our communities have disintegrated and our families aren’t in such great shape either…. We have paid a heavy price for convenience!
The following brilliant documentary shows how we have systematically destroyed our ecology and our communities by externalising what we value… making things, rather than feelings, be the benchmarks of our success… But what is success if we feel emotionally barren…? If we are an empty shell with all of what we rationally value outside of us then what does that mean…?
Sadly, it means that when we externalise what we value we have to keep on consuming, (eating up), diminishing resources, in order to try and fill the vacuous hole which we feel within.
But, that hole is where our soul should be, and like Tinkerbell, who needs our belief in her in order for her to exist, our souls soon perish when we neglect them in preference for objects… those pathetic inanimate substitutes we’ve traded for our true feelings.
Feeding our soul a diet of fake food… and lots of it… will never collectively constitute a soul sized peg to fit in a soul-sized hole. As Kahlil Gibran explains…
And the God of Gods Created the soul, fashioning it for beauty.
He gave unto it the gentleness of a breeze at dawn, the scent of flowers, the loveliness of moonlight.
He gave unto it also the cup of joy, and He said:
“You shall not drink of this cup save that you have forgotten the past and renounced the future.”
He gave unto it also the cup of sorrow, saying:
“Drink that you may understand the meaning of joy.”
Then God bestowed within the soul love that would depart with the first sigh of content,
And sweetness that would flee from the first word of arrogance.
He made a heavenly sign to guide it in the path of truth.
He placed in its depths an eye that would behold the unseen.
He created within it a fancy to flow like a river with phantoms and moving figures.
He clothed it in garments of longing woven by angels, from the rainbow.
Within it He placed also the darkness of bewilderment, which is the shadow of light.
And God took fire from the forge of anger,
Wind blowing from the desert of ignorance;
Sand He gathered from the seashore of selffulness
And dust from beneath the feet of the ages;
Thus He fashioned man,
And unto man He gave blind strength that leaps into a flame in moments of mad passion, and lies down before desire.
God gave him life which is the shadow of death.
And the God of Gods smiled and wept, and He knew a love which hath no bound nor end;
Thus He united man and his soul.
(Not much talk about woman here, but it was written a long time ago, and we all know Gibran meant us too… right!?)
Now to that excellent documentary I mentioned…
What Can We Do?
If happiness is a feeling we need to give up the idea we know what makes us happy and allow the feeling to let us know.
We need to put the feeling first!!
We need to choose ‘happy’ in principle and then let the Universe fill in the rest.
If we would all do this the world would look a whole lot different!
Rationalism has had it’s day… if it was going to work then the world would look a whole lot different to what it does….
It’s Time To Follow Our Hearts
What do you love?
That’s what you need to do!
And, no! It won’t always prove to be entirely stress-free… we need a bit of stress every now and again… to have none would be just as unhealthy… but we would be having fun! And, it would largely FEEL GREAT!
We Need To Start Building Community
Wireless technology has perhaps presented us with the most pernicious form of stress ever experienced on this planet and has effectively killed community faster and more effectively than the raft of divisive means of eviscerating communities which predate it. Our addiction to technology has singlehandedly undermined our immune system by 40%, which means we are operating at 60% before we even get out of bed of a morning.
We have learned to be divisive also. Our mainstream media, now owned by only six billionaires, serves to employ the oldest military strategy in the book, that of divide and rule… We are no longer God fearing sheep ready to forfeit our sense and our sovereignty at every Sunday sermon, requiring more effective tactics to keep the have’s profiting very nicely from the ‘have not so much’s’, and divide and rule seems to be working a treat… and here’s how…
Keeping up with the Jones keeps us working every hour that God sends so we can keep on consuming.
Thinking we’re better than other racial or social groups keeps our communities in tatters.
Believing we know how best to navigate life and our willingness to reject alternatives, as well as refusing to ask for and accept help, keeps us isolated and alone.
Feeding our Dopamine addicted psyches on a diet of Facebook and Instagram is the endgame of our existence.
More about freeing ourselves from “mental slavery”, as the great, late Bob Marley termed it, here: Cancer Causes & Cures
We Need To Start Loving Ourselves & Each Other
It’s time to put down the joysticks, the devices, and mouses…
It’s time to stop being suckered into believing we need to be perfect to be happy… because that just makes us victims!
The notion of creating a problem in order to fix it is what fuelled the advertising agencies of the 1960’s… by appealing to our base instincts and deep-seated insecurities, there has been a wholesale corporate take-over of the world, all aided and abetted by firebrand advertising execs.
Constantly being told we are inadequate and of insufficient stature, a predicament which can, of course, be remedied by the excessive consumption of a whole bunch of products, is a very effective way of selling stuff that nobody needs and keep them coming back for more.
It’s time to celebrate our similarities as well as our differences… being grateful for both by engendering an inclusive approach to the rest of humanity.
And, it’s time to cut ourselves some serious slack, only allowing our internal chatter to speak of hope, forgiveness and the ending of judgement… for us, and everyone else.
It’s time to follow our hearts and see where it takes us.
It’s time to stop giving a shit about 99% of what we give a shit about now… but wished we didn’t!
Steve Job’s Deathbed Epiphany
Steve Jobs is often referred to as the man who changed the world…
But, he died at the age of 56. He had pancreatic cancer. He also had a a multi-billionaire fortune.
These are some of his last words…
In other eyes, my life is the essence of success, but aside from work, I have a little joy. And in the end, wealth is just a fact of life to which I am accustomed…
At this moment, lying on the bed, sick and remembering all my life, I realize that all my recognition and wealth that I have is meaningless in the face of imminent death. You can hire someone to drive a car for you, make money for you – but you can not rent someone to carry the disease for you. One can find material things, but there is one thing that can not be found when it is lost – “LIFE”…
Treat yourself well, and cherish others. As we get older we are smarter, and we slowly realize that the watch is worth $30 or $300 – both of which show the same time. Whether we carry a purse worth $30 or $300 – the amount of money in the wallets are the same. Whether we drive a car worth $150,000, or a car worth $30,000 – the road and distance are the same, we reach the same destination. If we drink a bottle worth $300 or wine worth $10 – the “stroller” will be the same. If the house we live in is 300 square meters, or 3000 square meters – the loneliness is the same…
Your true inner happiness does not come from the material things of this world. Whether you’re flying first class, or economy class – if the plane crashes, you crash with it…
So, I hope you understand that when you have friends or someone to talk to – this is true happiness!
